Pandit Bikkhu has been living in Thailand since 1996 and has practiced in several insight meditation lineages. Since 2007 he has been leading the Little Bangkok Sangha (www.littlebang.org). He will introduce us to the concepts and science of mindfulness meditation and guide us through practices and mechanisms to cultivate awareness in our daily lives.

Marisa Cranfil studied comparative religion, qi kong and mid-eastern dance and has experience with a wide range of meditation methods. She was trained as an Ashtanga yoga instructor in Bangkok.

At the retreat we will be alternating meditation, yoga and qi kong. This will help us restore a more fluid and lively energy to the body and refresh our mind. We will learn how to use these practices to heal our minds and our body and to bring more balance into our relationship with ourselves, others and everything around us.

Participants are welcome to join us on the 7th in the afternoon or the evening, as the retreat will start at 6.30 AM on the 8th. The retreat will end with a wrap up on Sunday at 5.00 PM.

The retreat costs THB 2,000. This includes 2 vegetarian meals a day (also dinner on the 7th), individual rooms with fan and bathroom. Herbal steam bath and swimming pool are at your disposition.
