Day of Mindfulness
November 7, 2018
We will no longer be having Thursday nights at the Yoga Tree. We have had a long strong run of twelve years of Thursday nights but the Green Papaya is going to change its focus to our
Days of Mindfulness.
The rain has stopped, the forest is beautiful and green, the air is fresh.
This is a perfect time to enjoy the wonders of life and reconnect to ourselves.
Join us for a Day of Mindfulness at Wat Palaad on Sunday 25 November.
We will meet at 9am at the start of the nature trail (here is a map to get there).
We will start with a 45min walking meditation through the forest.
You can also meet us at Wat Palaad at 10am if you do not want to walk up.
At Wat Palaad we will practice sitting meditation, touching the Earth, dharma sharing and mindful eating.
Please bring your own vegetarian lunch to enjoy and mosquito repellent.
We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes that cover your knees and shoulders (out of respect for the monks).
We will end around 1:30pm and you are free to stay for a bit longer or return by yourself on the beautiful nature trail.
Participation is free of charge and we will offer the possibility to practice generosity by giving a donation to a charity or good cause if you want.
If you have any questions, email laurencegilliot@gmail.com.
A lotus for you, Buddhas to be.
