Day of Mindfulness

September 13, 2019

Dear Friends,

Our Days of Mindfulness are back! Join us on Sunday 22 September as we practice slowing down, reconnecting with our breath and inner peace.

We will meet at 9am at the start of the Monk’s trail. Google maps: Wat Pha Lat Hike (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Wat+Pha+Lat+Hike+(Monk’s+trail)/@18.7976637,98.9399926,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x30da3a13caf6d7c7:0x9b92635e2a72e98!8m2!3d18.7976637!4d98.9421813)

We will start with a 45min walking meditation through the forest. You can also meet us at Wat Palaad at 10am if you do not want to walk up.

We are very excited that Steven Smith, dharma teacher from Hawai will be joining us. At Wat Palaad, we will practice sitting meditation, dharma talk from Steven and then we will close with Mindful eating and dharma sharing.

Please bring your own vegetarian lunch to enjoy, mosquito repellent and a meditation pillow to sit on. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes that cover your knees and shoulders (out of respect for the monks).

We will end around 1:30pm and you are free to stay for a bit longer or return by yourself on the beautiful nature trail.
Participation is free of charge and we will offer the possibility to practice generosity by giving a donation.

If you have any questions, email laurencegilliot@gmail.com.
